Qiaoning (Carol) Zhang

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Information at the University of Michigan. After getting my master degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan,  I work at the Michigan Autonomous Vehicle Research Intergroup Collaboration (MAVRIC) as a research fellow. My advisors are Prof. Lionel P. Robert Jr. and Prof. Jessie (Xi) Yang. My current research interest includes the design of explanation modality that helps decrease anxiety and unsafe perceptions in Automated Vehicles, the effect of the public's expectation of Automated Vehicles on trust and its adoption.
